Classic Oyster Stew
Ingredients
- 36 shucked Willapa oysters and liquor
- 1 quart light cream
- 8 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Worcestershire sauce
- Paprika
- Tabasco
- Add 1 cup of oyster liquor to light cream and heat slowly.
- Melt butter in another saucepan, when it starts to bubble add oysters and cook until edges curl.
- Stir in the cream mixture and season to taste.
- Serve hot with oyster crackers, if desired.
